Shane Hedges has provided visionary leadership at a preeminent international education company and now assists a variety of institutions and organizations to create transformative leadership experiences for young people.  

Earlier in his career, Shane Hedges was a strategic communications consultant specializing in public relations and strategic positioning. Shane Hedges expertly guided clients through industry challenges and provided them with the tools to overcome them. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Hedges served as the nation’s youngest statewide gubernatorial campaign manager and later chief policy advisor to a governor. In his role, Shane Hedges led a cabinet of 13 officers, in addition to a policy staff of 4 employees.

In 1996, Shane Hedges graduated from American University with his Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government. Shane Hedges went on to attend the University of Maryland, where he earned his Master of Business Administration in 2006.

Passionate about helping others both professionally and personally, Shane Hedges is involved in charitable endeavors. A resident of Washington, DC, Shane Hedges enjoys traveling, reading, running, and spending time with his family.
